Dishaya / Careers / Growth & SEO/GEO Lead
Founding Talent Network · Not Interviewing Yet · Join To Hear FirstGrowth & SEO/GEO Lead
Earn discovery in both search engines and AI answers: grow a trust product without spending trust. The way people find Dishaya has to be as honest as what they find when they arrive.
About Dishaya
Dishaya makes research people can actually send. One question in; a client-ready report, deck, and source ledger out, with every claim checked against the exact passage it cites and labeled verified, partial, unverified, or contradicted. What fails the check is disclosed, never hidden. We are early, independent, honest about both, and building toward one ten-year outcome: "Verified by Dishaya" becoming a mark a reader trusts before they read. More in About and Principles.
Why This Role Matters
Discovery is splitting in two. People still search, but increasingly they ask an AI assistant and read the answer it composes. Dishaya has to be found in both places, and it has to be found honestly, because a product whose entire promise is verification cannot afford a single overclaim on the way in. Most growth playbooks spend credibility to buy attention. This role exists to prove the opposite works: that a trust product grows fastest when its marketing is held to the same standard as its reports.
What You'll Work On
- Organic discovery across classic search and AI-generated answers (GEO): when someone asks how to get research they can actually rely on, Dishaya is the answer they find, in a results page or in an assistant's reply.
- A content strategy that is honest and mechanism-free: pages and posts that explain what Dishaya does, who it is for, and why it can be trusted, written so a careful skeptic finishes them respecting us more.
- The founding-member funnel: from first visit to first work package, with every step measured, no manufactured urgency, and no dark patterns anywhere.
- Measurement that separates real signal from vanity: qualified signups and returning users over impressions and applause, reported as they are, including the bad weeks.
We describe work by the outcomes you will own rather than by our internal systems; you will see everything on the inside from day one.
Responsibilities
- Own organic growth end to end: strategy, execution, measurement, and the honest write-up of what worked and what did not.
- Plan, write, and edit content yourself; this is a hands-on role until it earns the right not to be.
- Treat presence in AI answers as a first-class channel, with the same rigor you bring to classic search.
- Keep every public sentence inside our public-language discipline: outcomes and guarantees, never internal mechanisms.
- Define what counts as a qualified signup, defend that definition, and report against it monthly.
- Say no, in writing, to tactics that would grow numbers by spending credibility.
Required Qualifications
- You have shipped SEO or GEO results you can show: what you did, what moved, over what period, and what you would do differently now.
- You write well and enjoy it; most of this job is words that have to earn a stranger's trust.
- You can design your own measurement and tell real signal from vanity, and you have caught yourself fooled by a metric before.
- You are allergic to growth hacks that cost credibility, and you can name one you refused to run.
Preferred Qualifications
- You have grown organic discovery for an early-stage product from close to zero, without paid spend doing the real work.
- You have earned visibility in AI-generated answers deliberately, not by accident, and can explain what you learned.
- You have marketed something trust-sensitive: research, security, finance, health, or legal, where one overclaim is expensive.
Nice To Have
- Public writing under your own name that shows how you think.
- Enough technical fluency to read a page's markup, discuss structured data with an engineer, and pull your own numbers.
What Success Looks Like
- 30 days: you have audited every public page we have, shipped your first fixes, and replaced our measurement with something we trust more than what it replaced. The numbers are small; the baseline is honest.
- 90 days: content is publishing on a steady cadence you set, qualified signups are growing month over month from a small base, and you can point to exactly which work drove which movement.
- 365 days: Dishaya shows up when people ask how to get research they can trust, in search results and in AI answers, and the founding-member funnel is a system you understand rather than a mystery you watch. Zero dark patterns shipped, zero overclaims published, and the growth is still real.
Team Principles
- Honesty over fluency, in the product and in code review.
- Delete before you add; every abstraction earns its keep.
- Evidence over enthusiasm; direction comes from users.
- Small, senior, trusted; you own outcomes, not tickets.
Benefits
- Founding-level equity; early means it matters.
- Remote-first, judgment over time zones.
- The hardware and tools you need, without a procurement dance.
- Direct access to how the company runs: numbers, decisions, reasons.
Interview Process
- Intro conversation (30 minutes): the honest state of the company, and what you want to build.
- Craft deep-dive: real decisions inside work you shipped.
- Paid working session: scoped, close to the real job, never spec work we ship.
- References and a clear written offer, fast.
Equal Opportunity
Dishaya is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate candidates on craft, judgment, and alignment with how we work, never on race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status.
